Creative Wedding Favours

My own wedding is taking place this July. I, of course, am having a celebrant deliver my service in style. The Wedding is taking place in Wales and I am going to marry the man of my dreams under a 900 year old oak tree.

In order to decorate the tree as well as the venue, I have started planning my creativity.

First up, wedding favours!

I am combining 2 ideas for favours.

Vintage English Tea Cups with Love Heart Lavender Pillows.

I have been collecting tea cups from charity shops, lovely floral patterns made in England. They look very pretty together.

Last night I created my very first love heart pillow. To make these yourselves, all you need is 2 pieces of your favourite material cut into love heart shapes. Sew back to back together leaving a small hole. Turn inside out and fill with stuffing from a pillow. Sew the ribbon on the side and there you have it, beautiful wedding favours! Don’t forget to sprinkle a little lavender oil on the pillow stuffing to make it smell beautiful! The floral clashes, but who cares it fun!
